Dealing with my eczema. I've had eczema for as long as I can remember. Eczema is a skin condition where your skin is extremely dry and cracked. You have to constantly keep it moisturized and you always have to be hydrated because your body doesn't make as much water as it should.

My hand at it's worse.

Here I'll talk about my eczema and how I deal with it now. The diet changes I've been doing and my results. I'll be going through this journey with you guys.

My Eczema

“Drinking lots of water and changing your diet. I'm going vegan, working my way and hoping for a good result.”

After I had my son, my eczema became really bad, it's gotten to the point where my skin is actually discolored. I had to put my foot down and deal with this as soon as possible. I decided first to change my eating habits. I didn't have the healthiest diet but I grew up eating very healthy so I know it won't be too much of a hard change for me. Helping Others with Eczema The reason I decided to make this blog was because I needed some sort of motivation, I needed to be excited about making this huge change. I also wanted to help people out there going through the same thing I'm going through. I knew that eating meat was something that was triggering my eczema and making my skin unhealthy. So, by omitting meat from my diet I should be able to see a difference. The change won't be immediate, it does take time. Then, my plan is to omit bit by bit dairy, starting with eggs then milk and etc. It's easier in my opinion to do it slowly, doing it all at once will be too much for your body. I've done it before, and I always go back to eating in that unhealthy way again.Disclaimer: I am not a doctor, nor do I claim to be. I am simply just talking by experience giving tips on what works for me. If you do have a really bad skin problem that keeps getting worse, I do advise you to go to a doctor and get accurate information for your body. My Plan

“Go vegan, lose weight.”

In addition to going vegan, I'm also going to be doing workouts at home. Being a stay at home mom is tricky since I can't go to the gym regularly like I'd want to. I wanted to do something relaxing as well, so I decided to look into yoga. There are many channels on Youtube that I've found to be really helpful with yoga for beginners. I want to take some time in the morning, while my son takes a nap and do some yoga then. I've already started and it is super relaxing, it also makes you work! Yoga is not easy, it really challenges your body. I've noticed that I'm always stressed out so I think yoga will come in handy, maybe some meditation will really help out too. I've got tons of books to read as well. Reading is a great way to relive stress and just take it easy for at least an hour. Those are my plans so far, I'm really excited to start and see my life transform into the better.

Who Inspires Me

I have to thank my boyfriend, he's always believed in me and has always been extremely positive in everything I've ever done. I watch this Youtuber Brad Mondo, he had uploaded a video talking about how going vegan cured all of his skin problems. I didn't know he had eczema he explained it in his video and i thought, wow, I have to try again and really work hard. I don't know why it hit me so hard when I watched his video, maybe it had to do with the fact that someone like him, so successful was able to talk about his problem and how he overcame that. It inspired me to make this blog and it inspired me to take better care of myself.
