Healthy Seasoned Chicken

For this meal I'll be showing you a dish I made for my boyfriend for his dinner for work. It's seasoned chicken. It's pretty basic and easy.
I'm always making easy dinners for my boyfriend to take to work. This dish is pretty easy but I recommend seasoning the meat a day before. It requires to be marinated for a while. That will give it the most flavor.

It's a pan seared chicken recipe using a small amount of oil.
Things you will need to make this healthy chicken recipe are:
A package of thin chicken breasts. (Sliced in half if you wish, you can keep them whole as well) Whichever size or brand you'd like. Or you can also ask your local butcher to get some.
3 cloves of garlic, (no need to chop it because we will be putting it in a blender) depending on how many chicken breasts you want to use.
A handful of cilantro, depending on how much chicken you'd like to use
Half an onion, you can use red or yellow, (sliced, so it's easier for the blender to take it apart) I used yellow because it's what I had on hand but i would recommend using red onion as it gives it a more delicious flavor in my opinion. A quarter or more of a green bell pepper and a quarter of red pepper (sliced for the blender)
A sprinkle of oregano dried or fresh will do just fine
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
1 Lime to clean the chicken
Directions:
After all the vegetables have been prepped, put them all in the blender and blend it together, the mixture should be a green color and smell absolutely delicious. Once it's all blended take your chicken breasts and clean them. Wash it first under cold water then use the lime and rub it on the chicken. Put the chicken breasts in a bowl and pour the vegetable mixture in the bowl with the chicken and coat the chicken with it. Cover the bowl with some plastic wrap and put it in the fridge over night, or for at least 2 hours. Take the chicken out and set aside. On a nonstick pan, pour a teaspoon of oil ( you can omit the oil if you'd like, a nonstick pan won't make the chicken stick to it) about medium high heat and place the marinated chicken on the pan once it's hot. Let one side cook all the way through, then flip them over and let them cook on the other side as well. Put the heat on low and let them cook for a while longer. Make sure the mixture is cooked all the way through as well. It should be a dark color on the chicken. When the chicken is done, just serve it with some rice and beans or whatever you'd like to eat it with and enjoy!
