Florida Adventure

Josh is from Florida and he has his entire family over there, we've been there twice and its been great. Our son had a blast. Some tips for the plane that I've heard of and discovered are, always feed them before the flight. Mateo was pretty good with that, he was always ready to eat when I would give him the bottle. Ask before hand if there are empty seats on the plane. Its much less tight if you have an extra seat for your little one to sit in their carseat on the plane. Me and Josh were lucky to have 2 flights with empty seats, made our lives so much easier. Changing diapers is always a hassle and it was for us. Mateo pooped once while on the plane and it wasn't horrible thankfully. Just be prepared for anything. While we were there we went to the beach, it was a lot of fun, we tied putting Mateo in the water and he did NOT like that at all! However he did like the sand, picking it up and letting it go and putting his little toes in it too. Definitely having another beach day when we return. The heat wasn't too bad for his skin or mine, we did sweat a lot and it was irritating but not as bad as it used to be. We tried to stay indoors as much as possible. For our next adventure hopefully we'll go to the Dominican Republic so Mateo can meet my side of the family and enjoy the ocean and sand there.
