I know I'm not the only young mom that's making a blog about being a young mom. However, I do think I'm bringing something unique to the table. I'm the young mom of a sick child.

Me and my son Mateo

I had my son when I was 20 years old. I got pregnant, things were great and then all of a sudden, 7 weeks before I was supposed to have my baby I gave birth.

“My son was born 7 weeks early, 33 weeks gestational. He was born with brain damage. ”

I'm not a doctor so I won't be saying anything too specific on the condition of my son. I want to keep it as simple as possible, there's a lot that goes into it.

Therapy

My son gets therapy every week, he gets physical therapy, occupational and speech. It's been great, he's been getting therapy since he was 3 months old. He's doing really well. I'm planning on making a video on what we do as a routine for his therapy and how many times a day we do these sessions.

This post was pretty short but I'd like to actually show you what I've been doing rather than type it out. Stay tuned for that video!
